Where are the accessible versions of the Government's recovery strategy document? Why has the Government not provided Sign Language interpretation for its #Covid19 announcements? It is unacceptable that so many disabled people are still being left behind.

Same as they don't provide easy-read & easy to use systems & info for those of us with #braininjury = they KNOW they've created systems we can't access & they're happy with that = fewer people claim benefits & the poor must beg charities to help with tax returns coz can't self-do

Ah, yes - but we in the disabled community are of no use, and are therefore dispensable......

The accessible version is called the coronavirus 2020 act and can be found on the gov website http://www.legislation.gov.uk/coronavirus  the guidance isn’t law. Legislation is law and is legislated in parliament under scrutiny which this law and others haven’t had as it was rushed through

I’ve only just discovered the #BSL version on The BBC news channel rather than on BBC 1. Utter rubbish. Scotland can do it, there’s no reason we can’t!

Because they don't give a monkey's. Why have they sat on the inquiry report on political participation by disabled people? Same reason.
