We had a great hearing this morning on prioritization online. Here are the takeaways:pic.twitter.com/EhUMjpduzh

BS. We don't want express lanes and toll roads and content censoring, and pay gates and throttling. You are paid by big telecom to destroy the Internet for the common Tennessean. #NetNeutrality

Sinclair’s PAC gave a total of $4,500 to Blackburn, who chairs the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, overseeing Sinclair’s bid to buy more stations. Now they are airing conservative talking points in TN as “news”.https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2018/04/17/sinclair-and-midterms-tennessee-edition/219953 …

We have speed tiers for a reason! Don’t let the ISPs double dip with your #PaidPrioritization bill! Do you really want to take more money out of #PublicEducation budgets so students and teachers have full speed access their resources?

This also adds costs to e-medical records and inflates administrative costs of #healthcare providers. Don’t forget ISPs won’t hesitate to charge government websites more to keep access to .gov sites the way they are. Leave the #Internet and #NetNeutrality alone!

At this morning's #SubCommTech hearing, @MarshaBlackburn likened internet fast lanes to the people in the audience who paid for "line sitters." This is a spectacularly bad argument for gutting #NetNeutrality.

@MarshaBlackburn You are a reprehensible, sad excuse for a representative. You are nothing more than a corporate shill, fattening your own wallet at your constituents' expense. I can't WAIT to vote you out of office.

In the case you made for paid prioritization, you used the TSA-Pre✅ as an example of an existing system as an analogy. If TSA-Pre✅ has any success at all, it's because the TSA experience is, at best, inconvenient for the end user. Is this your vision for the internet?

So verizon should be able to demand a "protection fee" from netflix, youtube, discord and skype, all while promoting their broadcast tv and phone services? Are you blind to the fact that big ISPs are also video and voice services too? Do you really not see competition issues here
