Tennessee brickmakers literally produce the building blocks of our nation. I voted for #SubEnvironment bill H.R. 1917 to protect brick & wood heater jobs & investments. Small businesses should not be forced to comply with another regulation that may not withstand judicial review.pic.twitter.com/sYr5MDyhVH

Marsha only acts like she cares about small businesses and the little guys when she thinks it will earn her a vote. Outside of that, she's happy to take hundreds of thousands of dollars from the telecom and pharmaceutical industries to do their bidding. #ByeByeBlackburn

This stuff is going to take America years, if not decades, to undo. Marsha & company will be long gone and it will be my kids' generation that bears the burden of cleanup. Screw you, Marsha Blackburn.

Brickmaking is an industry with $6 billion in revenue in the US. They have been fighting the EPA since the late 1990s on emissions rules to protect against mercury, particulates and acidic gases.

Lamar Alexander’s “bill would allow 100,000 public schools to use federal dollars for school counselors, alarm systems, security cameras and crisis intervention training.”... but the CDC is still prohibited from doing research on gun safety. Go figure.

Republican leadership lacks the moral courage to bring any gun bills to the floor for a vote. I applaud business for what they have done so far but its not enough. Now is the time to listen to our children and vote the bums out. They work for us not the NRA .

These brick makers literally produce bricks. Amazing. What about the nail producers? Why don’t we have a bill to protect them? And what about the glue makers? Does nobody care about them?
