Obamacare-era "net neutrality" is nothing more than a code word for government takeover of the internet. These regulations stifled internet investment and growth, and gave tech companies a free pass to censor users and block free speech.

@MarshaBlackburn now you wouldn’t have accepted any money from any of the ISP’s? I mean how could anyone trust someone in regards to Net Neutrality who took money from companies like Comcast? Oh wait you did... nobody is fooled by you.https://www.google.com/amp/s/motherboard.vice.com/amp/en_us/article/3dayyj/why-marsha-blackburns-rise-is-bad-news-for-net-neutrality-and-science …

Says the woman who Comcast and the telecoms have paid off to the tune of $700,000. #ComcastMarsha Funny how the FCC itself has already accidentally disproved this "obama era" BS lie. Nobody who actually understands #NetNeutrality believes a word you say.https://techcrunch.com/2017/12/18/the-fcc-disproved-its-own-claim-that-net-neutrality-was-an-obama-plot/ …

y’all it honestly kills me to see @MarshaBlackburn tweet about #NetNeutrality everyday like, girl we get it! you’re funded by telecom giants! you serve them and not your constituents! but do you really need to lie to us daily and act like what you’re doing is not reprehensible?

Wow. Did you get a bonus check for linking #Obamacare to #NetNeutralty? You are a joke. Does your rhetoric solely consist of writing a truthful statement in your head and typing the polar opposite on Twitter? You’re straight up telling lies and you know it.

What does Obamacare have to do with it? You’re going against what your constituents want and refusing to listen. Should work out great for you.

You have no shame. Everything in your tweet is completely untrue. Net neutrality was a very simple rule that had nothing to do with with censorship. It simply said all traffic must be treated equally. Stop lying to your constituents.

You mean the times before #NetNeutrality when your ISP and cell companies could slow your internet down at will? When consumers had no rights against their ISP? When cell companies could block sites with no repercussions?

That’s what was happening. Now it’s going to happen again and your ISP will be able to charge you to use Twitter and Google. Yep, seems like a good deal to me.
