You do realize that Thomas Jefferson toyed with the idea of rewriting the Constitution every few years. Even they realized that.
We will never rewrite the Constitution of the United States.

Which is why you have "Amendments" It was supposed to be a working document, updated & refined to adapt to each generation. Not set in stone as the first draft.

Lol.. Slavery is illegal. There is definitely No link between the amount of black men in prison, and the amount of cheap labour the United States profits from, by the millions of goods that are manufactured by inmates. But yeah... Slavery is illegal.

Um, there is literally a mechanism in the Constitution to rewrite it, hence the Amendments. Did you not pass Civics?
