Nice! How about making sure that Civics are taught as well. There needs to be a basic knowledge of how government works. 3 co-equal branches of government. What those responsibilities are of each branch. Checks & balances. What the oath of office means.

Yes I agree. Here in Australia we just got a new U.S Ambassador Arthur B Culvahouse Jr, He was born in Ten Mile Tennessee. A nuclear reactor is there and he went on to work in the nuclear industry. So inquiring mind. He's as slick as sliiick

As a long-standing member of the GOP, I believe our position on science is it is acceptance provided it supports our narrative. If it is counter to that, like climate change, then we prefer our representatives to have degrees in Home Economics. Wouldn’t you agree?
