Illegal opioids entering the US through int'l mail facilities pose serious public health threats to communities. Each year, more than 275 million packages are processed. Yesterday, the House passed my bill to enhance the FDA’s tools to stop the importation of these deadly drugs.pic.twitter.com/yN7zCiFc2y

It’s hard not to be cynical & think Marsha wants to stop illegal importation to reduce competition for her donors’ prescription opioids. It’s a serious problem all around-disheartening to see how carefully Marsha legislates to reduce impact to donors.

So you are responsible for the bill that helped the opiod epidemic. So were you bought and paid for by the drug makers? $700K

You very literally ran away from questions about the obscene amounts of money the pharma industry has poured into your war chest. And you want to be seen as an ally against opioid abuse? I've seen it all. #ByeByeBlackburn

More than 1600 Tennesseans die from opioid drug overdoses every year. But Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn took in more than $700,000 from opioid drug companies. Cares more about making big bucks than serving the best interests of her constituents.
