I also know of no circumstances where Jordan could have died from losing his concentration while playing basketball.

Anytime an NBA player goes to slam it down, they can easily get undercut by another player and fall on their necks. You’d be surprised how often it happens given the hang time these athletes have in the air. It’s actually a very justifiable comparison.
