Loved the Kenny Everett show when I was a kid, and it wasn't until I saw a fairly recent documentary that I realised Barry Cryer was essentially the driving force behind it.

I believe he also wrote Kenny's film 'Bloodbath at the House of Death' which I loved when I was a kid (despite seeing it too young to get half the jokes!)

Oh no, has he passed away? Very sad news he was a fantastically funny comic and writer. I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue is still one of the best and funniest programmes on the radio and he was a massive part of it's success.

I had a running inside joke with an ex who texted me to ask what my favourite radio programme was again? I’d text back I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. Every time. It made him apoplectic, I’d like to think Barry Cryer would have enjoyed the joke

Such a lovely caring man. I met him through my job in events. He was so unassuming. Travelled to the venue by Tube and donated part of his fee to charity. As well as bringing the house down with his humour. Sad loss
