He makes 7 Million a year, and his program generates enough revenue to support every other program at that school except Men’s Basketball, and still turns a net profit. Chief.

This is only true in Division I schools in conferences. Everywhere else sports are subsidizes but other revenue streams like fees, alumni donations, etc. This diversity racket seems crazy, would like to see an explanation of it.

I understand that, my response was to an ignorant tweet making the assumption that somehow the self sustaining football programs coach had something to do with the University wasting 10 million on “diversity officers”

Gary stop. You are using data and rational arguments. Not cool.

I agree with a football revenue of millions not one student should pay tuition to that school. The money is going somewhere and the athletes can't be paid. The money from merch and broadcasting rights needs to benefit more than the mgmt.

What blows my mind is that 10+ MILLION dollars can only pay for 700 students.

It's not that the information they disseminate is so hard to find, it's that they've built a system based on credentials, not knowledge or competence. It's a great racket for them.

Why does college cost so much? Just check out the payrolls. It's the biggest scam happening in the US of A.

Or the fact that government subsidizes the cost through loans. Reason colleges can charge whatever they want. Kids don’t care about cost when they’re not paying initially.

And, some day, we just may hear about that stunning $1.5 trillion student loan debt having a most unpleasant impact to our economy. Just one of several economic fault lines just waiting to have their impact on our lives.

Based on those salaries, the diversity police have been very successful with their primary mission, providing themselves with a diversified investment portfolio.

This is the kind of crap that happens when you shield consumers from price signals. In this case, through scholarships, grants & loans. If you want to make something really expensive, make it free.
