Again, the numbers:
LBB & TEA calculations both show state share of funding has declined over the past decade.

Speaks for itself!
Not obvious here is the corruption of LOCAL ISD Taxes! Over past 40 yr period, PER STATE LAWs, ISDs are taking in apx the same RATE of taxes. The difference is the % of amount that is STOLEN by #TxLege. In 1979, no @AustinISD $ to Tx. In 2019, HALF of Local $ Going to TxLege!
Here you go. District-level or campus-level information is also available, including for charter schools, at this website: https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/adhocrpt/adpeb.html …pic.twitter.com/7TvbfPLcOG
Look at the data yourself. That website goes back to 2011-12. The pie chart above looks the same. Going out one decimal place, 1.1%, versus 1.2%. You can also look at charter schools specifically, which have grown rapidly in that timeframe.
Administrative expenses and school leadership make up 12% of school expenditures, https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/snapshot/2016/state.html … #txlege #txed
Pie chart shows #txlege can't fix massive school underfunding by reducing superintendents' salaries (1% of payroll). But, here's a statewide graph. "Exploded" is in the eye of the beholder, obviously; the 6-yr increase for inflation-adjusted superintendent/charter CEO pay is 8%.pic.twitter.com/eyDJjHYuwQ
