Laws on the books are adequate, and always open for discussion. In Chicago where they have strict gun laws they also have high death by firearm. Personal responsibility, mental health issues, and violent video game culture are as important as any other part of the gun debate.

The same group who supports Chicago gun laws also support open borders. Instead of going to Indiana, black markets would emerge in Mexico, cross our open border, and take away all regulations, taxation, and statistical data analysis from government regulators. Think about it.

Agreed. We also shouldn’t accept our country torturing, but you just helped make that possible.

@MarkWarner I'm a supporter, but how many of these statements are you going to make? You, and all of our other Democratic elected officials, always move on to the next thing. At what point do you/others finally decide to focus all of your efforts on fixing this gun problem? -
It’s not a gun problem it’s a people problem

And how do you, as an elected official, propose to stop it? Hand wringing, "woe is us" tweets are not the answer, sir. What is required is more sensible gun control laws that would keep murder devices out of the wrong hands. How about you vote according to your supposed concern?

In 2013, months after the Sandy Hook shooting, you voted against reinstating the Federal assault weapons ban that was in place from 1994 to 2004.

I’m sure tweeting your indignation will help. One question: where was your indignation when you voted for a torturer to head CIA or when Israelis massacred 60 Palestinians—they didn’t even merit a tweet. I guess some lives are worth more to you in your mind, Senator. Shameful

Mark Warner covertly communicated with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska's lobbyist in a failed attempt to arrange a clandestine meeting with British Spy Chris Steele. Warner hid his texts from colleagues and staff, and is refusing to talk about it.https://www.scribd.com/document/371101285/TEXTS-Mark-Warner-texted-with-Russian-oligarch-lobbyist-in-effort-to-contact-Christopher-Steele …
