If you vote in support this bill I will support any primary opponent you ever encounter. (And yes I am a constituent) Same goes for you, @timkaine

I’m also one of their constituents. I will do the same thing. I hope they drop their support of this bill.

Hey,
@MarkWarner, 21 sounds like a lot but you know they've been steadily declining decades You know what's more than 21? 28. What's 28? The # of mergers among community banks in Virginia in just the last 4.5 yrs. You know what the bill you co-sponsored does? ENCOURAGE MERGERS! - 2 more replies

Nice to know that Washington can't do shit on DACA or guns but can still find time to help out banks. Your priorities are awesome.

Stop. Draw a line somewhere. Bank deregulation almost always ends in a crash, recession or depression. trying to trick us into thinking "community banks" are the main beneficiaries of this is dishonest.

During the
#FinancialCrisis, +than 10K Prince William Co#homeowners lost their homes on a yrly basis 4 a number of yrs. The rest of us lost over 50% of#homeequity based on the # of#foreclosures in the county. Our county & state#economies were devastated by#PredatoryLending -
I lived in FF Co when this happened and PW Co was one of the largest areas hit, along with many cities/counties across the country.

Early on PWC, & my zipcode 2 b precise, was the epicenter of
#foreclosures in VA, similar 2 Las Vegas, NV. The cause of all that hurt 2 VA families was#predatorylending practices that#S2155 brings back.@MarkWarner shd read his own bill b4 he votes 4 passage. -
Oh I think he read it, he is just pandering this dumb BS, expecting his constituents to not know any better or not give a damn! I don’t have a short memory so I’ll remember this when it’s time for re-election!

How does raising supervisory threshold for $50-250 billion banks help community institutions? I'm just asking ...
-
It doesn’t

No main street bank has $250 billion in capital. No community bank has a third of that. You're going to get primaried Senator. We see you.

These stats make no sense. Of course you've lost more banks in a longer period of time.
