        Their business model is based on defiance of federal, state, and local law. They must be punished aggressively by all levels of government until they cease to be a public threat.

        I'm very concerned about Trump's effort to appoint a deputy director to CFPB circumventing Congressional approval. Then there's Net Neutrality... Consumers are screwed by this administration.

        It is simple Senator, they have always operated with doing it, legal or not, and apologies later. They have felt that public opinion would outweigh regulation. It did as long as rider got low prices and convenient service. Now customers and drivers data is breached.

        Uber took pride in bucking the system and counted on its customer opinion to validate violating regulations. The customer was happy and did not care about how Uber operated. Uber placed most blame on their contract drivers so they could be at an arm's length. Now millions suffer
