Bob asked about the Trump Administration's Executive Orders attempting to sabotage the Affordable Care Act.
It's definitely a problem, particularly for insurance companies figuring out if they're going to offer plans in markets like Virginia's.
Right now I'm hopeful we can move past partisanship & the chaos it causes, and focus on Sens. Alexander & Murray's bipartisan negotiations.
Both parties should have learned by now that we shouldn't pass legislation making massive policy changes without bipartisan support.
Last question: Is healthcare better today than it was before the Affordable Care Act?
*Access* to healthcare is much better thanks to the ACA. Millions more have coverage.
And you can't be denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition.
Where the ACA fell short is cost-control. Our challenge now is to work together to bring down costs for middle-class families & #SmallBiz.
