Sen. and I are glad to announce funding to provide increased support to distribute vaccines equitably throughout Virginia. As our nation mourns 500,000+ lives lost to COVID-19, the need to administer the vaccine is more urgent than ever.

And I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM VDH about an appointment for the disabled severe COPD patient I am caregiver for. He hasn't received first dose yet, nor can we get CVS or Walgreens appts.
Hopefully this helps because VA's vaccine rollout has been a complete failure. High-risk seniors shouldn't have to stalk websites hoping to get lucky enough to find availability because their PCP isn't with Riverside.
I'm eligible but there is no place near me giving vaccinations
Stop giving the vaccines to hospitals
Use the Public Health system for equitable distribution

Senator Warner the capital police said in the hearing that they established a parameter how doesn’t get tactical gear and bear spray through a parameter. How to they get to to take flag poles and lead pipes through a parameter. You get my point!
Thank you, Senators, for your hard work for us. It is very frustrating to be unable to obtain appointments at pharmacies offering the vaccine and it doesn’t seem like my county’s waitlist is moving at all. It is also frustrating to know people are jumping the line.

Let’s get VA moving. No appointments available anywhere. 1b is not moving at all. I keep hearing we need to encourage people to take the vaccine ... well, we’re waiting!!

More funding for distribution is great news, but without more vaccine doses, we will not be able to make the needed impact.
