If Trump is acquitted, all of us can say whatever we want in public without consequences. If I get a speeding ticket, I plan to protest by encouraging people to fight for the right to drive however we want by taking the courthouse. I really am smarter than that.

We need a motion to prohibit senators from discussing the case with Trump’s legal team from this point forward. The 3 senators that met with the Trump legal team yesterday should be dismissed from the trial.

It is remarkable that (1) Trump trashed Pence the way he did and (2) that Trump didn’t try to stop the violence at the US Capitol immediately. It went on for 3.5 hours and Trump told his fans that he loved them.

Trump's presidential term was a bizarre and dangerous. Thus, do not set his term as a precedent. Anything he did during his term shall not be repeated or any president in the future shall not urge people to fight like hell against the Congress. The strangest term ever.
