What makes our nation's Capitol special is our openness to the people. That's why I find it heartbreaking to see the mobilization of thousands of National Guard members here to defend the heart of our democracy after last week’s insurrection.

BTW, the 3rd Amendment destruction happened in Virginia too after Tim Kaine and Jennifer Wexton got elected.

I find it finally what I would expect from US defense after knowing that insurrectionists planned to attack the Capitol and did so so easily. What is disheartening is that it has gotten this far. - one of your constituents.

Agree, this is a sad sight, though I am very grateful they are there, in service of us all. Please work to show our laws matter, in regards to the horrific domestic terrorism last Wednesday. 1/6/21.

The most violent of Trump supporters make it necessary. But next time when they ‘round a corner carrying weapons, they’ll be met not with pepper spray and billy clubs but rather a line of fully automatic weapons opening up on their sorry effort.
