Maternity care, substance abuse treatment, prescription drug coverage, and protections for people with pre-existing medical conditions are on the line today. I’m voting to stop the Trump Administration’s expansion of junk insurance.pic.twitter.com/ZVal6jKXCw

As a constituent I prefer you vote to KILL the ACA. I don't need or want all of the excess coverage that is mandated.

You do know healthcare coverage and insurance coverage in general is not just about you and your needs right now, right?

Actually, what I pay for should be about MY needs.

Then you should pay for no insurance, because insurance premiums cover the costs of many people with many needs, in addition to future needs you are not aware of at the current time.

Different coverages are for different people. You don't pay for the same auto insurance I do, because I have a business that needs different limts/coverages. It's not one size fits all, and health insurance shouldn't be either.

Your premium doesn'tcover just you or your needs. It covers you and it covers others. That is the basis of insurance. So you are saying each individual should decide what they want covered? So if you didn't cover testicular cancer and got it, you would jist be out of luck?

Then you really don't need insurance. You should just pay as you go now that there is no longer a mandate. I prefer insurance and coverage of preexisting conditions and not to have to declare bankruptcy due to an unplanned medical issue. To each their own.

That is not true but I expect nothing less from the modern day lynching party that will do anything to gain power and control of our lives.

As a good superdelegate you gave us Obamacare that raised insurance with less coverage and higher deductibles. and part D sucks! Fix one thing at a time and do it right or man up and give up your lifetime pension and great insurance! That the average person can’t get 🤦‍♂️

You COULD have had a voice in health care changes, immigration reform, infrastructure improvements. Instead you stopped representing ALL Virginians and chose to become a lemming in Schumer's choir. There are NO leaders in the Democratic Party only posturing lemmings

How about you let me decide which policy fits my needs? I'm 46 yrs old. I don't need maternity coverage or substance abuse benefits so why do you want me to purchase something I do not need?

If someone develops a condition after the effective date then it's not pre-existing. If my family doesn't have chronic health conditions then I'm not worried about pre-existing.

By your way of thinking everyone should have to pay for car insurance whether or not they have a vehicle since then my premiums would go down.
