I would have liked to meet with Judge Kavanaugh personally before deciding how I'd vote. Even attempted to set up a meeting with him, though unfortunately the White House never responded. So I’m just going to say it. I’ll be voting no on Judge Kavanaugh. Here’s why:

-
But what we have seen provides reason enough to vote against this nominee.

His past rulings, writings and evasive answers before the Judiciary Committee lead to the inescapable conclusion that, as a Supreme Court justice, Kavanaugh would seek to undermine and eventually overturn Roe v. Wade, and would fail to protect people with pre-existing conditions.

I am also deeply troubled by Judge Kavanaugh's views on executive power.
Show this thread -
We currently have a president whose conduct is at the center of a federal criminal investigation.

But in his testimony before the Judiciary Committee, Judge Kavanaugh refused to say whether he thinks it is constitutional for presidents to be investigated, and whether he continues to believe that the President has the power to fire a prosecutor criminally investigating him.

In this country, no one, not even the President, is above the law. Should the President's legal team decide, as they have threatened, to contest that principle in court, it is imperative that the Supreme Court ensures that the President is held accountable.

If the GOP will not follow the will of the millions of people telling them to vote No on Kavanaugh, then the Democrats in November will put a bill together removing Kavanaugh from SCOTUS and file charges against him for perjury .

Hm, I think that really has more to do with Senators asking hypothetical questions about current events, which Kavanaugh clearly stated at the beginning that he would not answer. Between that and their grandstanding, I didn't really hear any legitimate questions from the Dems.

Exactly. Selection process alone identifies him as political ideologue. Inappropriate for SCOTUS.

Trying to prolong this for political reasons. How ethical is that? You have NO right to defame Kavanaugh a good man. You will be held accountable for these actions.
-
He lied during his confirmation hearings. Whoever votes to confirm him, knowing this, are the ones who’ll be held accountable.

You are so dishonest. There are more records released on Kavanaugh's record than the last 5 SCOTUS candidates COMBINED. Vote YES on

Over 500,000 pages of documents produced. More than for the last 5 supreme court nominees combined. No matter how many docs, how much time given to review, or how many times you talk to him, you will never vote for him. You can't stand for anyone who'll uphold the constitution.

Nothing was concealed. Other candidates in the past have not had records examined and you know it, because of security and privacy issues pertinent to the security of this nation

K was caught in a lie If he were sitting as a judge and someone lied to him there would be penalty He is not above the law, sorry there is no grey area on this
-
There was no lie, that has been thoroughly debunked
-
Debunked? By who
@GhostAdventures ?@Zak_Bagans Are you on this debunking panel?
