45 years doing the same exact job as my male counterparts and receiving 1/3 less compensation because I'm female means I have less retirement income to survive on. This injustice against women must be rectified.

Blame everything except yourself that you don't have adequate retirement funds with no proof. Nice

Trump & Putin are running out of funds. The Bots these days are woefully lacking in authenticity

It was introduced in 1971. I was 3. I'm now 49. WTF is taking so long?

I still remember when it couldn’t get passed in the 70’s. We were told, “Eh, we really don’t need that. Equality for women is already understood as part of the law. Now go make me a sandwich.”

Not unless they rewrite it to quarentee it doesn't legalize taxpayer funding for non-medical abortions! The "current" ERA has long passed it's legal approval time, anyway!
-
it literally states this you asshole- Sect. 1 Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex Sect 2.The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article
-
Sounds good. I used to be a sopporter. Then I heard someone on TV say it would make the Government pay for abortions. And I knew if one person believed that so would some corrupt judge! I can't support it without a guarantee now.
-
this caveat of yours proves you aren't for true equality, also why would you believe one person on TV???
-
If one person can believe that so will others. Your "caveat" comment seems to confirm that. Apparently, I'm not for equality unless I'm also for casual abortions! 'Nuff said!
-
no one gets a "casual" abortion
-
Well, you give me an appropriate adjective! One that describes what I mean, not what you think I should say. Some people are very casual about it, anyway. I don't want my taxes paying for it, anyway.
