You voted to confirm her as DHS secretary. When will you call for her resignation?

Senator, I say this with a degree of respect & admiration for you: This is a really good question! I think that it is not unreasonable, in hindsight, to acknowledge the DHS Secretary has not proven a good appointment.

They marched in Charlottesville, Thomas Jefferson's hometown. As a Virginian, I am not over it. RIP Heather Heyer. If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.

Nazis are always wrong. It doesn't matter if they even claim the sky is blue when it is. Their existence is what makes them wrong.

A left wing domestic terrorist group on one side and racists on the other! The Democratic mayor of Charlottesville is a complete idiot to let that happen.
-
The “good people on both sides” statement might be the most misinterpreted thing Trump said. There are good people that would like the statues to stay and that reality is hard for people to grasp. That said, gotta put some blame on the cops too. They let people in with weapons.
-
It’s an oversimplification to say there were two groups present and
@MarkWarner should know that. But it’s more important to the anti-Trump mob to misinterpret what was said.

Yep it was the Nazis. Or the white nationalists. Or the white supremacist. Or the alt-right. They’re all the same people and they’re not “good people.”

We now have real live Nazis in America. Running for political office as Republicans. We have Nazis in the West Wing of the White House. Nielsen, Kelly and Miller are the resident members of the 4th Reich. Nazis are always among us, it is a genetic trait that afflicts Alt/R.

I dont support them but everyone has a right to free speech. An org had a permit to hold a rally, what is incredible is that “NOT ONE” is calling out
#Antifa the cowards who cover their faces, that came there to cause trouble. Who is to determine what is/is not#freespeech -

Yes. It was tragic. But, who is to determine
#freespeech BLM (hate group) has killed police officers, is their free speech taken away! So, yes! Im F’n serious. -
Nice whataboutism.
-
Oh look another made up word by the left!!!

-
Whataboutism was a term coined many decades ago as a criticism of the way that the USSR would say "the West does bad things, too"pic.twitter.com/aiOEAYwGM7
-
Interesting, I did not know. So, instead of using facts in your arguments to prove your opinion/view, you resort to using “Whataboutism”, just to accuse the accuser w/ whatever you’ve been accused of. Perfect!
-
Okay, the fact is that the most violent act at the Charlottesville rally was the murder of Heather Heyer (and attempted murder of other counter-protestors) by a white supremacist. What other people have done at unrelated events doesn't change that.
