A lot of our founding fathers grew hemp. It's actually a very versatile and profitable crop. Paper, cloth, rope, and many other products can be made from it. Don't let your prejudices against marijuana cloud
your judgement. -
Plus it's cheaper to grow than cotton, which is currently the primary source for those products.
-
Hemp also contains only trace amount of THC. It’s impossible to get high from smoking hemp though it is easy to grow and can be turned into a wide variety of very useful products.

if it wasn’t for WR Hurst and his newspaper and pulp industry hemp would have remained a sustainable source for rope, paper and even construction. But if you are rich and can influence government you get your way. Hemp pulp is cheaper & better than wood pulp -Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

My grandfather grew hemp in the 1920’s in Kentucky. Today, it would make a great replacement crop for tobacco farmers.

Do it. While you’re at it, legalizing recreational use may stop us from having to pay tolls to use public roads, increase teacher pay, build better schools, fix the infrastructure.....u know, good things

Hemp was widely grown in colonial Virginia, a major agricultural product, was used as food, textiles, rope, thatching, paper, strong board, fuel. An acre of hemp makes as much textile as 2-3 acres cotton. Henry Ford wanted to make a car with hemp material.

How is it possible you can support hemp production (for ag industry), yet not support marijuana legalization (for personal health and liberty)?
