@GovernorVA and supporters of #Medicaid expansion should be proud of this bipartisan achievement, but the real winners here are the hardworking Virginians who will finally have healthcare for their families.

Do not dare characterize this as a "bipartisan" achievement. This is the result of a grassroots movement that Republicans have fought the entire way. Should've happened years ago and would not have if Dems hadn't made such huge gains in 2017.

Thank god for States rights now if we can only get our congress to hold trump accountable to his duty toward his oath of office and the country

Partisan politics should never stand in the way of American rights!
-
Health care is not a right. You are not entitled to someone else’s labor
-
Please, but owning a gun is. Russian bot.
-
Also, my guns are bought with my own money, through a voluntary business transaction. I didn’t have the government take someone else’s money to buy it for me.
-
We are taking about healthcare and the right to have healthcare. No one is asking you to pay for their healthcare. lets hope you never have the need for help like many of our elderly and infirm in our country. disgraceful to think guns are more of a right than healthcare.
-
People are asking for us to pay for their healthcare though, which I am glad to help do if it is done via a non corrupt, well regulated means. The idea of a society is that you can pool resources to help the greater good. The problem is corrupt entities that drive costs up.
-
Proof that healthcare is corrupt? Please sir, everything is not corrupt. If you are willing to help, help without reward.
-
Price gouging for drugs and services, kickbacks from lobbyists, etc. I want no reward...the problem with our current structure is that only a small portion of the cost for basic care actually goes to help the patient. Cut out the waste and a funded system for all becomes viable.

We need better labor laws in Va. The big box store that I have worked for 28 years is hiring new employees and cutting our hours.

Right. All of us working types should be real proud we are are now paying for even more people's healthcare

Pro Tip: Not wanting to help your neighbor or the less fortunate proves you are not a person of high morals or integrity. (And a simple math exercise will show that insurance such as Medicaid saves taxpayer money but that might be to much to think about)
-
Here is a more appropriate tip for you: when your horse is dead, it's time to dismount. Your socialized medicine died when Hillary bit the dust.

But, it's cool if the banks rip those same families off because of your vote, right Mark?
