    “Cis” is absurd on its face. It makes no sense to define society in contrast to ppl who are unhappy with their sex or see themselves as what they are demonstrably not. We do not define ourselves opposite any other similar grp, i.e. ppl unhappy w/ their height or anorexics. So no.

    Obviously. What with the corporate backing, municipalities falling all over themselves to protect them, billionaire/millionaire backers, predominantly white demo, white male lead, erasure of women's rights to accommodate their fantasy, ppl being fired for resisting. So oppressed.

    I'm in a bit of a bad mood so I apologize in advance, but it's really so messed up that it gets seen as negative and even as conversion therapy(!!!) for a therapist to help a dysphoric/trans person accept themselves or cope without invasive body-altering surgeries and medication.

    While waiting for actual results, shouldn't Democrats be more worried about the low turnout than they seem to be?

    We don’t know the results but we do know turnout isn’t up from 2016. All the cosplay didn’t deliver. Trump is weak but this party is set up to do a Mitt Romney.

    I, for one, think it’s great that now any hashtag or trend not sanctioned by corporate media can be summarily dismissed as contrived by Russia and not reflective of genuine popular discontent. This is healthy and will not at all be abused to shield powerful people from criticism.
