Isn't the problem with casting a trans actor that the actor might not match the character they need for the role?

Nobody would use that excuse if they cast a white actor in a black role. It's not acceptable here either.

There aren't a lot. And that's PART OF THE PROBLEM.

0.3% of the US population is trans, so you have about 300 in LA if it stays proportional.

Unless you're suggesting that there are NO qualified #trans woman actors in the US, your point is rather moot.

Even if there were only ONE #trans woman qualified to play the role, SHE should have gotten the role over a cis man

It's called acting.This is basically a non-issue.

you can't act transgender… It's a fucking identity… Not a personality trait
