Then you should have run for a local office, not the Senate. A United States Senator has no jurisdiction over local laws.

Terrible. New Mexico had for profit prisons, and no oversight or data at the courts. Incarcerating for profit, led to generational poverty despair, and hopelessness. We are seeing the chickens come home to roost, on education cuts, no social services, and no housing.
