Public defenders have always used any and every excuse to get criminals released as quick as possible and for “FREE”...on the taxpayers dime of course.

Prisoners are already isolated, so just keep them in their cells. Bring the food to them and no visitors. Just like nursing homes. No need to let them out.

Agreed. Both for the safety of the inmates and the public. It is much easier to control the disease with the population inside than if they are outside of the jail. Public Health has decades of experience with this.

Mark locking up nonviolent offenders for smoking a plant was wrong in the first instance, releasing those individuals is far from a horrendous idea.
