@KRQEMark in tonight's weather segment you stated the ABQ area had 1.95in of precip and that it was above avg. Is there some sort of number/data that reflects how effective the rainfall was? How it was distributed over time?
Great question! The rain was distributed over 5 days but that deceiving. The highest single total came on the 25th with over an inch and the top two days making up 1.75". So this was classic heavy rain over a short period.
Ty for the reply. We have a wind chill factor, a humidity index and if you come up with an accessible way to describe it we can call it the RainChetti Average.
I love it! You make a good point though. I am going to try and incorporate that in how we look at precip each month!
