You can’t cut football. It brings in a lot of revenue that funds other sports. So does basketball to a lesser degree. At least that’s the way it works at most major schools. Thank you for saying that. Completely true. People think because they don’t like the program or that it hasn’t been successful in recent years, although it has in 2016, to cut it. It still makes more money than most all other sports combined and pays most of their bills...

2016 the football program dug the rest of the athletic department out of that mess by taking on, and winning, ESPN games at late night, changing dates and venues, to take that bigger payout for the school. Regardless of what was, or wasn’t, reported.
