The @LNPQLD leadership that preys on young people like Wilson to be “hero’s” needs to take some responsibility when they inevitable backlash occurs. I’m looking at you @LyleShelton
As current State patron of the UQ LN Club, I’m deeply saddened to hear of the death of Wilson Gavin. Wilson & his friends took a principled stand to protect children from inappropriate sexualisation & gender fluid ideology. For that he was treated terribly. Wilson, RIP!

It is incredibly sad that Wilson passed away. However, I beg you - please don't contribute to the hateful rhetoric that emphasises stigma towards a vulnerable and oppressed population. Love and tolerance is what we need right now.

LGBTQI+ people are not inherently sexual, nor are they inappropriate for children. Believe it or not, LGBTQI+ children exist and representation matters.
