Like…not sending 1.1 million children to school tomorrow with pediatric hospitalizations up and half of nyc children unvaxxed?

MAYBE WE COULD DELAY SENDING STUDENTS BACK INTO PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS TO EAT LUNCH TOGETHERpic.twitter.com/QZuxp0CUMv

My kid goes back to school tomorrow, Chicago suburb. She's 17, so she is free to eat anywhere in the building, I have asked her to NOT eat with her friends, which I hated to do, but it's INSANE with Omicron for people to be eating indoors with people not in their household.

We need to put back in place many of the efforts from March and April 2020 until we stop this spread.

Get
@NYCMayor and@NYCSchools to temporarily shift to remote for a week or so, that would be a huge help since many of those hospitalizations are kids! -
Can’t. People need childcare. There’s no chance they stop the economy now.
