    The logistics of escaping from domestic abuse are far more complicated than you might think. Read this thread for one very real example. At the end, there's a GoFundMe to help my friend's sister get a fresh start.

    Anyone that thinks victims of domestic abuse should just move out is so unbearably privileged, they have no grasp of the reality. Where do you go? How do you pay for anything when your abuser controls finances? All you and your kids have are the clothes you were able to take. 1/

    I wonder what shifts in security spending we’re going to see in the wake of the ‘SolarWinds’ situation, which areas will get more attention. When we say “software supply chain”, there are a lot of moving parts and contact points in there.

    Hey - I like the new app.. but it’s literally less safe to use in the car. The prior app could be set to Auto-Start playing favorites playlist with NO extra user interaction when the app launched— very safe for use in the car. Now it requires multiple active taps? Help?

    Your interview process should reflect the actual work and communication that the candidates will be asked to do if they join your team. This is a great example of how to do that.

    We did a bunch of job interviews today for a postdoc position in my group, and we tried something different. We gave all the candidates in advance all the questions we were going to ask. (Sent to them a week beforehand.) The outcome was amazing! (1/3)

    Achievement unlocked: “Cold Call”. I responded to a radio call for SKYWARN snow reports last night. Delivering SKYWARN data using ham radio is a classic way to do that, but last night was my first time actually doing it. 73, KC1KTY
