It's like when the Republicans kept telling their base that any day now they're gonna repeal the ACA. It failed every time. I'm glad we are standing up and making our legislative priorities clear. But don't use "it won't work" as an excuse while calling dead legislation a win.

You have to pick one. If it's worth passing dead legislation then it's worth showing that win or lose, our system of checks and balances still functions at least a little & he isn't above the law. If not, then stop passing dead legislation too. It's insulting.

Yes Pelosi's announcement of the equal rights act this week reminded me of trump & cronies celebrating the overthrow of ACA in the Rose garden. So tired of business as usual while none of it matters if there's a crook in the white house.
