Let's keep the data in mind. 74% of deaths from political violence in this country are tied to right wing groups, 2% to left wing over the last decade. They have to back to the 60s and 70s - the Weathermen or SLA - to find deaths from organized left wing political violence.

They will claim Antifa! Their tactics are the same! No, these are people showing up to oppose violent right wing white supremacy and neofascist groups who are violent. That is why they appear ready to do violence - in opposition to fascism. They have killed no one.

Compare this to mass shootings at garlic festivals and synagogues, black churches, or Dodge Chargers being driven into crowds - it is clear who is responding to violent rhetoric and engaging political violence. There is simply no comparison.

Prior to 9/11 the most significant terrorist attack - the Oklahoma City bombing - was performed by a White Supremacist who kept the Turner Diaries under his pillow. This remains the most deadly act of domestic terrorism in history.

And that was not the only white supremacist bombing. Domestic terrorists such as Eric Rudolph, who bombed the Olympics, abortion clinics and gay bars was indoctrinated in his youth in "Christian Identity" which believes only white Christians can be saved.

So when they find a list of names from a public database for election transparency threatening, this is projection. They see publishing of names as incitement to violence because this is a consistent right wing tactic.

They have to work really hard to create a comparison between the two sides, to make a thrown milkshake or a broken window seem as threatening as an assault rifle or Dodge Charge driven into a crowd. Let's keep our perspective.

True. Fundamentally violence is excluded from left wing political frameworks at this time. This can, of course, change. But the idea they are calling for violence, as right wingers *routinely* do, is simply not supported by facts.
