Been thinking a lot about “uncles” since Toronto (longer than that, but it reminded me). If you call yourself an incel, you don’t deserve to be in a relationship. But you have a fundamental lack of understanding WHY you don’t deserve it. NO ONE “DESERVES” a relationship.

A relationship is founded on a friendship first: a mutual respect and admiration. If that friendship doesn’t become something more, it’s still a good friendship. Even I, a married man, am not OWED a single thing by my wife. A relationship is built on GIVING, NOT on GETTING.

Add to that the whole MRA thing. They think that men deserve more admiration and respect than women. It’s coming from the same place as incels. Are MRAs and incels victims? YES! But NOT victims of women. They are victims of toxic masculinity that defines manhood as conquest.

So, if you identity as an incel or an MRA: stop it. Change the way you think.
