You are just assuming the kid was backed against the wall. There is not three coppers. Two are teachers, one of which clearly knows something about the kids situation. There is nothing what so ever in this snipped of video to be alarmed about WRT the treatment of the child.

Why weren't the parents there? If their kid was having a problem why would they call the cops and not the parents? Unless cops have the say so in Germany would surprise me

It's not clear that they called the police for this. There is a hint that the kid has a problem with his parents (father). It's not even in Germany.

So why were they supposed to call the police then ? Judging by the position of the cop and teachers (or whoever may they be) vis-a-vis the kid they're clearly exerting pressure on him. Still at an odds to understand why the police would be ever present there.

We don't even know if the cops were called. This probably some kuhdorf in Austria, not the Bronx. The police often play a more communal role in these places. You can't conclude he's exerting pressure by the "position", listen to what is actually said.

I can understand what he's saying, and regardless of whether it's happening in US or Austria or anywhere else, I can't see the point of calling the cop over a single kid refusing to be tested, not to mention the undue psychological pressure his presence would create on the kid

They are clearly pressuring him and trying to to make him feel guilty for not taking the test. So no, it's not okay to do this to a kid.
