Britain has an obesity problem. Nearly half of British school children are overweight. And Cosmopolitan are pushing an obese woman as a role model! This isn't 'body positivity', this is the glorification of an unhealthy lifestyle.pic.twitter.com/W6AlXdrEPy

Really don't understand why it's ok to call this girl names. So she's a bit fat, doesn't matter, she's still pretty. Imagine if she was black or disabled as well? Bet the reaction would be different #hypocrisy

Being black or disabled aren't lifestyle choices. One cannot stop being black or disabled. While I'm not gonna make fun of her weight, I think it's irresponsible to promote an unhealthy lifestyle in this manner.

And being a forced size zero is healthy? That’s an unhealthy and unsustainable lifestyle and a very poor example for young girls who not only starve themselves but smoke to keep themselves thin!

No one is saying a forced size 0 is what women should be. However, no rational, reasonable person would say that Ms. Holliday is a paragon of healthy living. I'm not "fat shaming", but stating a fact. When I lost 80 pounds, the asthma went away.

Aren't you commenting on my choice to comment? I care about our fellow humans. There are millions of people who are making poor health choices...that we have to pay for. Obesity is a condition that leads to other health issues.

No you are entitled to comment, I just think that your choice of comments when you have been way overweight yourself is a tad ironic. A bit like a reformed smoker! My comment was around people’s right to be whatever weight they themselves feel ok with.

Exactly. It's humiliating to be a 28 year old man, and need to puff on your asthma inhaler to make love to your wife. Being a fat guy isn't fun or cool.

I have a weight problem due to real medical condition. I have to take pills so that my guts don't disintegrate out of my backside. To counter this I take care of my diet and do a lot of exercise. I would be embarassed to get my self into that state!

I hear you my friend. Even when huge I covered myself; dressed modestly. Mom taught me a certain amount of dignity. 🇨🇦👵🤣It is hard work for some of us but I know women large due to medical disorders; they seem to strive to keep it in hand & not make a career of exposure.
