I honestly had never heard of her until your tweet. She served a jail sentence for denying the Holocaust and claiming Auschwitz was just a labor camp. As much as I strongly disagree with her claims, I strongly believe nobody should be jailed for exercising their free speech.

In Germany, Holocaust denial is against the law. Time and again I ask myself, why CAN'T you question the Holocaust? It makes me wonder. You should be free to question anything and everything.
-
It's true, I can question everything in my nation's history, right up to its founding...but not that (and notice I said "question" not "deny" simply speculate) strange that, isn't it?
-
It reminds me a bit of those scientifically-minded souls who issue death threats to climate scientists who deny anthropogenic global warming or climate change or whatever the hell they're calling it these days...

Bad argument. Maybe the one or another was not aware of her situation because it was not reported properly. But in this case more people are aware. So i think it would be more productive now to stand together for free speech instead of random accusations.

Different factors mate. 1 is at the tail end of her life talking about something which happened 70 years ago. The other has his life in front of him highlighting atrocities happening right now, which affect our kids. Draconian policing to stifle free speech and his life in danger
-
And one is put in jail where he could be surrounded by his enemies any day now - there are many on the left working in our criminal-friendly prisons who know if they 'allow' or arrange for his enemies to murder him in jail, the enemy within establishment will look kindly on them

Well, it's not exactly in a British citizens capacity and is far more difficult to protest something if you don't actually live there.

Tommy's crowd support Zionism and couldn't give a fig about true revisionist scholarship. Generally, they aren't smart enough to realize that Zionism is the root cause of multiculturalism.

I think the whole idea is to just shut her and the whole topic up. The only way to stop that is spread her story widely via social media.
-
Actually they are... there are multiple news reports around the globe on her arrest. However, not a single thread can be seen with respect to Tommy Robinson. The Independent briefly touched base, but it’s not enough.
-
Hmm. Not sure where you are looking. My feed has been full of stuff on him. Most of it ignoring (or misunderstanding) the law on the topic.
