We want to know exactly how many subscribers our favorite creators have. Why? It's just the way people are. The journey to the next milestone is always fun, and now we don't get to see how close we are. It'll just roll over when we're "close enough".

I guess my question here is "why?" Your excuse is consistency, but it's quite obvious that there's something more going on here. What reason could you possibly have for actively pushing users away from your site?
