There's a reason we call them Woolseyisms to this day. He's really important as a localiser in the history of video games but you totally get the impression that he Mr. Bean'd his way through a few of them (as opposed to the impression people get of Carl Macek, the "Macekre")

Yep. If you guys didn't know, Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island are 2 completely different places. The Yoshi's Island in Dinosaur Land is actually Yo'ster Isle.

And that one Toad is named Hinopio because Hinopio is named Toad.

Toad is called Kinopio in Japan. They swapped out the "ki" for "hi" for the toad in the volcano, presumably because "hi" can mean fire (火).
