In the main mario games They're twins In The Maro and Luigi games Mario is older Kinda strange how they put that on a mario and luigi themed 3ds.

I'm no expert on twins, but I'm pretty sure it's fairly common to differenciate between them with "older twin" and "younger twin" I mean, they weren't born at the exact same time. So even if the difference is like 5 minutes one will be technically older.
