Google recently added more info to "About this result". (Click the 3 dots next to a result in the SERPS to see it.) So much of what they added is similar to wording in the QRG. There are possibly hints here to help us improve E-A-T:

This is a great analysis. I did a quick spot-check on the entities we are working on using our SaaS Kalicube Pro, and there appears to be a (non-data-backed) match-up with the "Web results about the source" and control of "In their own words" Wooohooo !

I think thumbnail is good. I don't think people who really want to learn SEO won't look at thumbnail. They will just read about you.
