Now! Question: should I go to the Sacred Deer yoke? I liked The Lobster and was proud of myself because it made me seem 'interesting' 1/3

And by staying I felt my own opinion of myself inflate. Suddenly I was an intellectual. ("The toaster was a metaphor for blahdeeblah")
-
But everyone is saying that The Sacred Deer yoke is WORSER than The Lobster in terms of 'unsettling-ness'
-
And I'm wondering how far I can push this tough, interesting version of myself? And I think, I regret to inform,
-
...I'd be better off going to The Emoji Movie (it's back on this week because of midterm)
-
It was enjoyable being directional and interesting. I will miss that short-lived version of myself

I loved The Lobster but it was cruel. I wasn't expecting that much cruelty to be honest.

I described The Lobster as the entry drug for Lanthimos and Sacred Deer as the full-strength gear. I’m sticking with that.
