    Reminder: Place used Christmas trees curbside before 5am on the day of your garbage collection this week. In 2021, 5,000+ Christmas trees were collected in NOLA. The trees are airlifted by helicopter into the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge to create new marsh habitat.
