    I hear that PAO who blocked a reporter's McCain question was not part of the ship's public affairs team. It's also worth pointing out that has a number of items commemorating Sen. McCain's service. Appears to be an isolated incident, but still noteworthy

    Welcome to 2018 where the refuses to let sailors comment on the passing of Naval Aviator and war hero, Sen John McCain

    On USS Abe Lincoln Monday to see F-35 trials, reporters tried asking a group of naval aviators what McCain had meant to them. The PAO, who wanted to stay on topic, blocked us from asking the question. Listening to Graham speak just now, I'm regretful we didn't get their answer.

    And on that note...new UN report today says there have been more than 16,700 civilian casualties in Yemen between March 2015-June 2018, mostly due to Saudi-led coalition airstrikes. * Report also says real number is most likely higher than this.
