I tried with 500 x 500 px. I already tried a few things. Just for tests: jpeg Qualität = super low new small jpeg, C&P the image content from the big file into it Changing image modes Saving as png Low dpi No matter what I tried, even a 500x500 px image has a size of 13 MB

Hey, huge thanks for your help again!! This tip solved my problem. I observed one weird thing. In windows explorer the file was shown with a size of 13 MB. When I tried to add it to an email, it had the same size. In the panel "saving for Web" it had the expected original size.
