I wish, @Photoshop would finally offer a function to fill contured shapes without such a little gap. Would be a great timesaver!

theres an option to change the tolerance level of the fill bucket, that should do it
Nope, not for me. I tried different tolerance levels, but still the gap. But I use a simple action now. It works pretty great for me
