I wish, @Photoshop would finally offer a function to fill contured shapes without such a little gap. Would be a great timesaver!

Draw your shapes in Illustrator then paste in as Vector Smart Objects?
Hey thanks for the idea. But in my case it would be a real workflow-killer, since I draw a lot of shapes. Additionally I would have to pay more than 20 $ per month to have illustrator. I stopped the subscription few month ago because I use it to less. :)

Moot point if you don't have illustrator, but I'd say you'd actually be saving time: it's the same process as PS's clunky contour tools & you're not having the problem of filling those pixel thin lines in.

This is a great solution by Raphael! I only need 2 buttons after I drew a shape.
