ARTIST TIP: How to practice straight lines
Years ago I learned this simple but super effective method by watching a video of @FengZhuDesign
Steps:
1. make 2 dots with a certain distance
2. ghostdraw the lines before real drawing
3. draw the line

Also helps - depending on the distance between the dots - to use your wrist or shoulder for a complete movement.
I usually take my elbow as an anchor point on the table for the whole movement :)
